Industrial Visit to students is a pathway to groom & accomplish practical knowledge & their theoretical applications thereof. For students pursuing in this field, Industrial Visit is nothing short of a heaven once placed at a reputed company. Therefore, B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology and Management organised an industrial visit to Imperial Auto for students of Mechanical Engineering.
When it comes to the largest integrated manufacturer of the fluid transmission products in India, doubtlessly, we say Imperial Auto. The company that has about 14 dedicated manufacturing plants with a family of over 5000 employees and a group turnover of above US $200 million.
This educational cum Industrial visit to Imperial Auto was enlightening and gave the students a positive energy of the work being carried out in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
This visit gave students an idea of prevailing opportunities and work culture in the Mechanical field. It also encouraged and motivated the students to update their knowledge on the new technologies which will help them in preparing for the placements into major Mechanical Industries.
It would be best to summarize appreciating the efforts of students the way they learned and witnessed the working methods and clarified their doubts interacting with the experienced workers.
Ayush Khatri, a 3rd year professional in Mechanical Engineering, said: “It gave us an exposure to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at the college.”

She has more than 6 years of experience in multinational companies. Recently, working as an Advisory System Analyst at International Business Machines (IBM) Corporations. She was invited to address the newly inducted batch of students pursuing Engineering at Anangpurias.
Surbhi Aggarwal expressed her joy of being here with the Anangpuria family :
